Weddings by Mars is a photography studio by Marci Nelson, also known as Mars. Working primarily with analog film, her style lives at the intersection of documentary honesty and editorial composition. Mars is drawn to the quiet gestures, fleeting expressions, rich colors and unique details that make each celebration feel alive and distinct. With a thoughtful approach—sometimes guiding, often simply observing—she creates imagery that reflects not only the beauty of the day, but the spirit and connection of every couple she works with.

All wedding packages include analog film coverage with the option to add a digital second photographer. Nationwide travel is included in your custom quote.

30 guests or less. Sunday through Thursday only, or subject to current availability.

For gatherings big or small—whether it’s an intimate micro wedding or a full celebration with family and friends.

I’m available worldwide for couples planning celebrations beyond Utah, SoCal, Hawaii, and Seattle. Travel fees are all-inclusive and built into custom package rates.
