Weddings by Mars is a photography studio by Marci Nelson, also known as Mars. Working heavily with analog film, her style lives at the intersection of documentary honesty and editorial composition. Mars is drawn to the quiet gestures, fleeting expressions, rich colors and unique details that make each celebration feel alive and distinct. With a thoughtful approach—sometimes guiding, often simply observing—she creates imagery that reflects not only the beauty of the day, but the spirit and connection of every couple she works with.

Photography, to me, is less about staged perfection and more about translating feeling into something tangible. I look for the in-between moments—the subtle gestures, the atmosphere, the energy that makes a day uniquely yours. My role is to hold space for those things, weaving them together with intention so your images feel artful, honest, and lasting.
